My 5-step SEO Keyword Challenge is here! The difference between struggling alone and having a roadmap….

This challenge is aimed at beginners who've never looked at keywords before, or who has meddled with them without really knowing what to do.

It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in, what sector you’re in, or your level of SEO knowledge- anyone can take part!

I am using only free tools to find keywords on this challenge as I think you need to get to grips with the process before you pay out for fancy tools.

And by the end of the challenge, you'll know;

  1. What keywords are.

  2. Where to find them.

  3. Which are good keywords and which are not.

  4. How they are used on your website (this will be expanded on in later sessions).

  5. How to use them in a keyword strategy on your website.

First, what is SEO?

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is the process of optimising your content to tell Google (and other search engines) what keywords you want to be connected with – i.e. which search terms will result in your website showing up in the search results page.

SEO is not used as a way to drive traffic to your website but it is used as part of a wider digital marketing strategy (like social media). It will help people find you if they’re already searching for the keywords that you are using on your website. This is called Organic Search Traffic.

Intro to Keywords

There are good and bad keywords so finding the right ones that will work for you is important.

Not so good keywords are;

X Too short

X Too general like 'websites' or 'london'

X High competition

X Low relevance

Better keywords are;

✔ Longer phrases

✔ Specific or niche

✔ Lower competition

✔ More relevant

🔥 Let’s get started with the challenge - I’ll take the guesswork out of keyword research and help you find that missing link between content and GREAT content that gets you found 🔥

If you’ve not signed up to a plan yet, you can do so below!
