When you’re planning out your website, it’s a good idea to plan the pages you may want to create, and how they will be organised within the overall structure of the website, in advance. This is known as a sitemap and can be a visual representation of the hierarchy, or just a list.
A well-planned site structure ensures easy navigation, improves user experience, and enhances SEO.

Most websites typically include key pages such as:

  • Homepage – The first impression of your brand, guiding visitors to important sections.

  • About Page – A place to share your story, mission, values, and team.

  • Contact Page – Essential for allowing visitors to get in touch, often featuring a form, email, phone number, and location details.

  • Blog Page – Useful for sharing insights, updates, and thought leadership content.

  • Service or Product Pages – Showcasing what you offer, whether it's individual services, product categories, or specific items.
